Phone Counselling
Telephone counselling is probably the closest form of therapy to that of face-to-face counselling, but as you’d expect is conducted over the phone. I often propose this option as an additional avenue of support and /or as part of my easier access to therapy services.
The benefits of telephone counselling is that it is free from some of the constraints that come hand in hand with face to face counselling and therefore can make therapy more easily accessible to those who are unable or would prefer not to attend face to face counselling or psychotherapy.
Similarly some clients say they experience and are grateful for the immediacy of real time contact, but unlike chat therapy appreciate hearing a voice behind the words, as this may feel more personal and connected to you.
